After School Education and Safety (ASES)

The district’s After School Education and Safety (ASES) program provides academic support and enrichment for students in grades K-8 outside of the regular school day.  ASES programs are free of charge to parents, and have a limited number of spaces for students.

The ASES program undergos a comprehensive annual evaluation process to ensure program quality and effectiveness. All evaluation results are readily available for public review. If you would like to review the evaluation results or need further information on the district's ASES program, please contact the program manager at (760) 726-2170, extension 92183.

What is ASES?

ASES stand for: After School Education and Safety Program.

Our program begins on the first day of school and continues through the end of the school year. It is a cost-free program providing homework assistance, tutorials and enrichment activities for your child. Daily Program Hours 3:08 pm- 6:00 pm

How do we offer a "FREE" program (or How are we funded)?

The ASES Program is funded through a grant that is based on student attendance

To accomplish program goals students are expected to attend programming the full duration of the program hours (three hours a day, five days a week). Enrollment in the program comes with the understanding that your child(ren) will attend and participate every school day.
